SBR HS 65 Rubber Powder for soles slabs
HS 65 Powder is the product line of rubber powders for applications in
SBR-based compounds with high styrol content.
It has good abrasion resistance and aging stability.
HS 65 is stable against substances such as mineral oils, fats and
hydrocarbons, organic and inorganic acids and bases.
Application fields:
It is mainly used to produce women’s heels and in-soles, and slabs in which
the hardness must exceed 80 shoreA.
HS 65 BLACK it is black in color and
consists in its base compound of a
butadiene copolymer with a high
styrene content, i.e. which contain
65% styrene. Since 1946, it has been
widely used to improve the weak
mechanical characteristics of SBR
products not containing some types
of reinforcing fillers by sector of use.
HS 65 LEATHER it is leather-like in
color and consists in its base
compound of a butadiene
copolymer with a high styrene
content, i.e. containing 65% styrene.
Since 1946, it has been widely used
to improve the weak mechanical
characteristics of SBR products not
containing some types of reinforcing
fillers by sector of use.
Rubber SBR HS 65 â Technical Notice
It is characterized by good dielectric properties, compatible with silicone oils, water and solutions diluted with acids, bases and salts . Addition of styrene in 65% increase the wear and durability for many application.
It shows poor resistance to oxygen, ozone, UV radiation and oxidizing agents, unless in the form of a specially formulated compound. It is incompatible with mineral, vegetable and animal oils as well as aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
The operating temperatures are between -45 and +100°C. It shows low resistance to heat and zero resistance to flame, while demonstrating good resistance to the cold, even if the glass transition.
